The Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI) is looking for participants to be part of our upcoming focus groups in Fort McMurray.
The Focus Groups will support ICAI in creating a strategy to understand andsupport our members in Fort McMurray as we move across Alberta. This call is for immigrant and newcomer arts professionals IN FORT MCMURRAY to participate in our upcoming focus groups, to share their experience, challenges, wishes and desires as newcomer and immigrant arts professionals and help ICAI better support them in reaching their professional goals.
WHO CAN APPLY
Professional artists, arts administrators, and culture workers in Fort McMurray.
No age limit
No residency time limit - Immigrants can apply regardless of how many years they’ve been in Fort McMurray.
FOCUSED GROUPS DATES
Fort Mcmurray Focus Group - online: July 11th, 6-8 pm, Zoom Event.
Fort McMurray Focus Group - in person: July 18th, 6-8 pm Keyano College - Elements Meeting Room. 8115 Franklin Avenue Fort McMurray AB T9H 2H7.

TIME COMMITMENT AND BENEFITS
Each participant will join one focus group either in-person or online. The focus groups will have a facilitator that will gather information from the group. The duration of each focus group is 2 hrs.
Participants will receive a $50 fee as honorarium for $2 hours.
