Visual Verse: SPECTRA Textile Arts
The Alberta Society of Artists is pleased to present the group exhibition “Visual Verse” featuring the work of SPECTRA Textile Arts.
The exhibition runs July 3 - July 29, 2026, at the Calgary Public Library - Central, 800 3 St SE, Calgary, Alberta. Exhibition hours follow the library's operating schedule:
Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
“Spectra is a group of like-minded Fibre Artists who are committed to the exploration and presentation of textiles as art. Each of us has her own unique style and textile interest which results in our varied approach to our artwork. Our members are primarily from Southern Alberta, including Calgary and the surrounding area. Coming together in 2017, we have produced several exhibitions to date. These have been displayed in many galleries around Alberta.”
