CNSS will be held in Calgary from September 24th-27th, 2026 this year, it is a forum for the wonder, spectacle, and cultural practices of stiltwork across the globe.

The Canadian National Stilt Symposium is pleased to be a guest of the Knox United Church community in downtown Calgary. This is a very unique space for performance and workshops—most of the Stilt Symposium’s activities will be held at the church. We are excited to hear from you and are pleased to host all types of stilters including stiltdance artists, acro-stilt performers, roving stilt characters, and spectacle magic makers.

Here are some brief details as to the types of venues that are available in September 2026:

- Workshops are in a large gymnasium – full sound and wireless headset mic for facilitator.

- Panel presentations are in a small theatre – Full AV will be available.

- Friday Stilt Showcase – please have a look at the photos in Google Search for Knox United Church. The Friday evening performance will take place in the Sanctuary where they normally hold church services. We do not have access to aerial presentations in September 2026.

- Sunday Site Activation (daytime) – Tech support will be extremely limited for these performances, but PA and standalone or hand-held mic will be available.
