Exhibitions/Performances
ICAI hosts, in partnership with local arts and community organizations, multiple exhibitions and performances every year. The purpose of these exhibition and performances is to provide an opportunity for immigrant and newcomer artists to exhibit and showcase their artwork, engage with a new community, and attract new audiences. This empowers newcomer and immigrant arts and culture workers to build roots and lasting connections with the arts community in Calgary.
These exhibitions and performances are only possible with the fantastic support of our partners, and the local arts community in Calgary. By creating and facilitating equitable and accessible exhibitions and performances, ICAI provides an opportunity for our community of artists to share their talent, hone their craft, and this then enriches the diversity and the vibrancy of the arts and of Calgary itself.
